Griffin Festival of the Arts

What a nice surprise. Last night at the Collie Art Gallery for the opening of the Griffin Festival of the Arts, I found that I had been given second prize in the Landscape painting section and also achieved TWO "Highly Commended" awards from the judges. It was a great evening with a huge crown attending, good music, excellent local wine and top catering. Well done to the organisers!!

LATEST...In addition to the two paintings I sold during the exhibition, last week a man drove back from Esperance to buy a painting he had seen in the exhibition which had since closed. The gallery contacted me while I was in Perth and we made another sale, the painting being delivered to him in Esperance. TWO sold...a great success!!
